Building Surveyor - Central London (Holborn)

The Role: You’ll be joining a team of industry leading surveyors, providing services for a wide array of portfolios across the UK. This includes Office, Retail, Education, Leisure, Mixed-Use, Residential, Industrial & Commercial developments. 

Although your initial focus will be within the Industrial, Commercial & Retail sectors. Project values ranging from £5M - £500M!

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to play a key part in the company’s Building Surveying team, providing high calibre professional advice to clients. You’ll undertake all round building surveying work including:

  • Contract Administration

  • Refurbishment and redevelopment projects

  • Building Pathology

  • Dilapidations

  • Technical Due Diligence

Job Location: Central London (Holborn)

Head Count: 220+

Current Projects: Industrial, Commercial & Retail

Requirements for the Building Surveyor:

  • Degree qualified – within a construction related discipline

  • MRICS chartered (essential)

  • Excellent & accurate report writing skills

  • Experience working in a proactive commercial environment

  • Knowledge in general building surveying i.e. contract administration and dilapidations

  • Sound knowledge of building contracts in a commercial context

  • An interest in new technology and innovation in your practice

  • A good level of up to date technical building knowledge
